Keeping abreast of our final days in Delhi

Lots of photos taken in the Delhi Museum. Unbelievably beautiful scupltures encircling the outer rim of the building and in room after room inside. Our planned visit of 1 or 2 hours drifted into more than 3. I (MW) avoided the minatures totally as I had seen them in their original settings in Chamba, NW India in the past.

I’m having 2 days of extravagance with a car and driver. Just a little worn out with negotiating fees of tuk-tuk drivers who don’t even know where they are going half the time. This is a total extravagance for about A$30 a day. One of the advantages of having a car and driver is that they know all the good haunts around Delhi to eat and drink. After telling my driver about my desperation to get a real coffee, he took us to a little, modern, clean cafe tucked away in an alleyway off Janpath called Chocolata. Highly recommended. I had my fix.
